Trusted Puppy Socialisation Experts for Effective Training
Is your puppy ready to get out in the world?
The process of socialisation is absolutely key for their future wellbeing. Unless they become accustomed to other dogs, people and unfamiliar environments, your puppy is likely to grow up to be fearful, anxious and even aggressive.
You might have noticed that rescue dogs that weren’t socialised properly exhibit these traits. Fortunately, even older dogs can be socialised, although it might take longer. Ideally, it’s best to use puppy socialisation experts when a puppy reaches 9 weeks.

Why Start When a Puppy is 9 Weeks Old?
This is a critical developmental period for puppies. Although socialisation can start at 3 weeks at home, 9 weeks is a good time to start training classes.
At 9 weeks, most puppies have had at least their first set of vaccinations, reducing the risk of contracting diseases. While full immunity isn’t achieved until all vaccinations are complete, controlled socialisation (such as meeting vaccinated dogs or attending puppy classes in a safe environment) is beneficial.
By this age, they are still highly receptive to new experiences but are also beginning to become more cautious. By delaying socialisation beyond 12-16 weeks, your puppy will likely have become more fearful, finding it difficult to adapt to new situations.
It’s also more practical to start training at this time. At 9 weeks, most puppies have had at least their first set of vaccinations, which reduces the risk of them contracting diseases. Although full immunity isn’t achieved until all vaccinations are complete, controlled socialisation (like attending puppy classes in a safe environment) is beneficial.
