About Caninekids Rally Obedience Classes
Rally is all about having fun and interacting with your dog while training. If you enjoy training your dog and want to take them past the basics or are wondering what a good next step would be, Rally is ideal.

Whether you want to aim to compete and train at all three levels or you just want to increase your obedience and control for every day life, this sport utilizes many different behaviours in every day life as well as competition obedience and agility. Passing other dogs or people on the road, taking your dog out for the day, to a fete or to the coast will all become that bit easier and even more enjoyable.

Rally O is often described as a combination of Agility and competition obedience. The sport is essentially to follow a numbered course of signs and perform the behaviours listed on the card. Signs vary from basic halts, sits, stays, to figure of eights, intricate turns, and directed recalls, some over jumps. The whole course is completed with your dog walking in a heel position. You complete the course at your own speed and you can talk to your dog the entire time if you wish.

Rally has 3 Levels and you can do as much or as little as you like, but trust me it's addictive! Level 1 is performed on lead and as you progress to Levels 2 & 3, they are performed off lead. So you are increasing control and developing your off lead handling skills. Each level the signs get harder and need more intricate training to achieve the best results. Its great fun and a great challenge for you and your dog as a team!!!!
